Ok, I know I'm his dad but this kid is stinkin' cute.
I think he could be a model. I've been showing him off to everybody at work all morning. It's been a lot of fun. Having a kid really makes you feel how God must feel about his son, Jesus. So blessed, honored, proud.
Thanks to Kim for the great photos! Check out her blog here.
Enjoy the new pictures!

special week
This past week was really fun, Miles and I went to Greensboro to surprise my grandmother (Mile's great grandmother) for her 75th birthday. My aunt shaney was throwing her a birthday party on Monday night so I decided to drive down and surprise her. We had such a fun time just hanging out and spending some quality time with Maw Maw! What a blessing for Miles to be able to be around his great grandmother. While we were in Greensboro we made some really neat valentines cookies! Thanks aunt shaney for letting us come and Happy Birthday Maw Maw! We love you! Cheers to many more years!
Friday
Can't believe it's already Friday again. Miles rolled over today when he was on his stomach. I caught it on video!! See below! Soon he will be rolling over from his back!

landscape maintenance?
I think I'm going to do some landscape maintenance on side this summer for some extra cash. I'm making some simple postcards to send out. This is a sample of what the front might look like. I'm still cycling ideas so we'll see what it will actually look like. Any comments or ideas are welcome.
oh, forgot to mention. This is on an old book cover using pencil, gouache and real English Ivy as the grass.

Time is flying
I can't believe that Miles is 12 weeks old today! He is 3 mo. old, I can't believe it. It just seems like time has gone by so fast. We had a fun day today. I took Miles to the park close to our house and let him play on his blanket. It's really nice here today, the high was 70. Here is a video from earlier this morning!

Tummy Time
It's Friday!
Well, once again it's Friday! I cannot believe how fast time is going by. It's already been a month since Christmas, how can that be? I can't believe that our baby boy is approaching 3 mo. He will be 12 weeks next Tuesday. Miles has been such an amazing addition to our family. I just love him so much. He is getting more and more alert and loves to talk and play. I've been taking him out a lot lately, trying to get involved in things around Asheville, and he's been doing so good. It's funny too, because whenever I feel like he's not going to sleep good at night he does, and whenever I think he will sleep he doesn't. The other night we visited our first small group through a church we've been visiting, Highland Coummunity. We took Miles, and he did great, he was just a little over stimulated by the time we got home at 9:30. He finally went down around 10 and I was convinced he would sleep until 7 or 8, but no he woke up at 3 wanting to be fed! He is just so unpredictable. Last night he was fighting sleep and finally settled down around 8. I was convinced he would wake up at 3 again but no, he slept until 5:30! Crazy, I guess he's on his own schedule at night. I'm just glad that he gives me 7-8 hour stretches. I wanted to post some pics from last weekend. I haven't taken to many this week, because we've been so busy. I hope everyone is doing well, and that everyone has a wonderful weekend.
